'''Giorgos Galitsios''' ([[Greek language|Greek]] Γιώργος Γκαλίτσιος) is a [[Greeks|Greek]] [[football (soccer)|football]] defender currently at [[Olympiakos FC|Olympiakos]].

Galitsios was born on [[July 6]], [[1986]], in [[Larisa]]. His father is [[Yiannis Galitsios]] who played for [[AE Larisa FC|AE Larisa]] in their glory years - the [[1980s]].

Like his father, Giorgos Galitsios started his professional [[football (soccer)|football]] career at [[AE Larisa FC|AE Larisa]]. In the summer of [[2008]], he was acquired by [[Olympiakos FC|Olympiakos]].

Galitsios spent the second half of the [[2011]] season on loan to [[Panionios FC|Panionios]].

On the national level, Galitsios has played for the [[Under-21 National Football Team]] of [[Greece]].
