'''Giorgos Roussopoulos''' was a multi-talented [[Greeks|Greek]] athlete who competed in the [[high jump]], [[decathlon]], volleyball and was a [[football (soccer)|football]] goalkeeper of the [[1930s]] - [[1940s]].

Roussopoulos, as a footballer, played in the pre-[[Alpha Ethniki]] era for [[Panionios FC|Panionios]], part of that time as player-coach. He coached the great post-[[WW II]] team which reached the final of the Greek Cup. As a coach, he discovered [[Nikos Pentzaropoulos]] and was an influence on the careers of other footballers of that era.
