'''Giorgos Sigalas''', (Greek language|Greek]] '''Γιώργος Σιγάλας''') ; born [[July 31]], [[1970]] in [[Peristeri]], [[Greece]]), is a retired [[Greeks|Greek]] professional [[basketball]] player.

Sigalas played for [[Olympiakos BC]] from [[1992]] until [[1997]] winning five consecutive league titles, two [[Greek Basketball Cup]]s and the Euroleague championship in [[1997]].
He left [[Olympiakos BC|Olympiakos]] in 1997 joining Italian League club Stefanel Milano. The following year he returned to [[Greece]] to play for [[Aris BC]] ([[1998]] - [[2001]]). Afterwards, he transferred to cross-town rivals [[PAOK BC]] ([[2001]] - [[2002]]), Spanish club CB Granada ([[2002]] - [[2003]]) and Italian side Viola Reggio Calabria at the end of the 2003 season.

Sigalas returned to Greece in [[2003]] and played single seasons for [[Makedonikos BC|Makedonikos]] and [[Panionios BC|Panionios]] before closing out his career with [[Aris BC]] ([[2005]] - [[2007]]).

Since retiring, Sigalas has become a basketball commentator and also works as a coach for the national youth Greek basketball teams.
