==College career==
Korfas played college basketball at Pepperdine University from [[1982]]-[[1986]].

==Pro career==
Korfas played for [[PAOK BC|PAOK]] with whom he won the Cup Winners' Cup in [[1991]], the [[A1 League|Greek Championship]] in [[1992]], and the [[Greek basketball Cup|Greek Cup]] in [[1995]]. With [[PAOK BC|PAOK]], Korfas was also a Cup Winners' Cup finalist in [[1992]], and a Greek Cup finalist in [[1989]], [[1990]] and [[1991]]. He took third place with [[PAOK BC|PAOK]] at the [[1993]] Euroleague Final Four in [[Athens]].

After leaving [[PAOK BC|PAOK]] in [[1995]], Korfas played for [[Panathinaikos BC|Panathinaikos]] and won the Euroleague championship with in [[1996]] and the World Club Championship with them the same year. In [[1998]], he moved to [[Maroussi BC|Maroussi]] winning, in [[2000]], third place at the [[Greek basketball Cup|Greek Cup]] final four.

==Greek national team==
Korfas was part of the Greek [[National basketball team]] team during the [[EuroBasket 1989]]. He did not however take part in any of the tournament games.
