[[Kaity Chomata]] ([[1946]] - [[October 24]], [[2010]]) was a Greek singer of the [[Neo Kyma]] (''New Wave'') genre.

[[Kaity Chomata]] was born in [[Plaka]], [[Athens]].

She studied classical dance. She started singing from a very young age. She was discovered by [[George Oikonomidis]]. During those years, [[Giannis Spanos]] had came from France searching for the singer or the singers who could bring the Neo Kyma at the music stage of Greece and so he co-operated with her.

Her, approximately, 200 songs are featured on 18 albums. Some of her hits include: Aspra Karavia ta Oneira mas (Άσπρα καράβια τα όνειρα μας - Our dreams are white ships), a duet with [[Michalis Violaris]]; Mia agapi gia to kalokeri (Μια αγάπη για το καλοκαίρι - One love for summer).

She toured extensively, singing for the Greek diaspora at the US, Canada and Germany. Her last appearance on stage winter [[2009]] at a music stage at Gazi.

She was suffering from cancer for many years. She died [[October 24]], [[2010]] at the 417 General Military Hospital NIMTS hospital and was buried at the Helioupolis Cemetery.
