'''Konstantinos Georkadjis''' ([[Greek language|Greek]] Κωνσταντίνος Γεωρκάτζης) is a [[Cypriot]] politician who was elected Mayor of [[Lefkosia]] on [[December 18]], [[2011]].

Georkadjis was born on [[February 20]], [[1968]] in [[Lefkosia]], the son of Interior Minister [[Polykarpos Georkadjis]] and his wife the former Fotini Michaelides. Konstantinos was raised by his stepfather, [[Cyprus]] president [[Tassos Papadopoulos]], after his father was assassinated in [[1972]].

Georkadjis joined the [[Cyprus National Guard]] in [[1986]] and rose to the rank of Second Lieutenant. He studied Business Management at Boston University, graduating in [[1993]].

Following graduation, he held several executive positions in the business world in [[Greece]], Romania and Cyprus.

On [[December 18]], [[2011]], he was elected Mayor of [[Lefkosia]] with a landslide 57.11% of the vote, unseating incumbent [[Eleni Mavrou]].

Georkadjis is married to the former Eleni Eliades. They have three children.
