'''Konstantinos "Kostas" Mitroglou''' (Greek: Κωνσταντίνος "Κώστας" Μήτρογλου, born [[March 12]], [[1988]] in [[Kavala]]) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a striker for Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, on loan from French side Marseille, and the Greek [[National Football Team]]. He is nicknamed "Mitrogoal" and "Pistolero" by fans due to his goalscoring abilities.

Raised in Germany, Mitroglou started his career at Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he established himself as an excellent prospect. He was signed by [[Olympiakos FC|Olympiakos]] in the summer of [[2007]] and had two loan spells at [[Panionios FC|Panionios]] and [[Atromitos Athens FC|Atromitos]] before establishing himself in the team. He transferred to Premier League club Fulham (England) in [[2013]] for a club record £ 12 million, and they were relegated in his only season, in which he was troubled by injury. He then returned to Olympiacos on loan and then to Benfica (Portugal), before joining the latter on a permanent basis in [[2016]].

In [[2017]] Mitroglou was transferred to Olympique Marseille (France). In the winter of [[2019]] he joined Galatasaray (Turkey) as a loanee and in the summer of [[2019]] he went to PSV (The Netherlands).

Mitroglou has been capped 65 times so far for the Greek [[National Football Team]]. He scored 17 times, earning him a spot in the top 10 of the list of all-time scorers of the Ethniki.
