'''Kostas Tarasis''' is a [[Greeks|Greek]] former [[football (soccer)|football]] player who is currently a coach.

Tarasis started his [[football (soccer)|football]] career as a goalkeeper in a local club before switching to central defender. He was acquired by [[Panserraikos FC|Panserraikos]] where he was once again converted into a left-side full back.

In December, [[1982]], Tarasis made the big jump to [[Panathinaikos FC|Panathinaikos]] where he was established as a right-side defender. He won the double with the greens in [[1984]] and [[1986]] but, after the [[1987]] season, he was released.

Tarasis then joined [[Aris FC|Aris]] [[Thessaloniki]] where he lasted one year before moving on to [[Mesolonghi FC]] where he ended his career.

During his playing career, Tarasis was capped four times by the [[National Football Team]] of [[Greece]].

He is currently a coach in the youth system of [[Panathinaikos FC|Panathinaikos]].
