Sotiriadis was born in [[Mudanya]], [[Asia Minor]] in [[1908]]. After the [[Asia Minor Disaster]] of [[1922]], his family came to [[Thessaloniki]]. He played goalkeeper for [[PAOK FC|PAOK]] [[Thessaloniki]] from [[1932]] until the outbreak of [[World War II]].

During the war, Sotiriadis saw action in the Albanian front as a NCO and fell on [[January 28]], [[1941]].

Sotiriadis was capped once by the [[National Football Team]] of Greece, in a World Cup qualifier against Palestine.
