Born in 1942, '''Nikos Tzinis''' was a talented forward for [[Niki Volos FC|Niki Volos]] who transferred to [[Olympiakos FC|Olympiakos]] in 1963.
At Olympiakos he was no longer the "target man" but played outside-left (left wing) which did not suit him as well so his career in Piraeus only lasted two years. He was replaced by another Volos player, [[Vasilis Botinos]].
Tzinis was capped once in his career by the Greek [[National Football Team]].
