He played for [[Naoussa FC|Naoussa]] from [[1993]] till [[1996]] and [[PAOK FC|PAOK]] from [[1996]] until his sudden death on [[February 9]], [[1998]] in a car accident outside [[Thessaloniki]] when he was just 21 years old.<br /> <br /> A bust was erected in his memory in [[Toumba Stadium]], and a memorial was erected near the spot where he died. Memorial services are held each year, where the players and board of [[PAOK FC|PAOK]] are ever present.
