"Popular Orthodox Rally" argues that after the end of the Cold War the demarcation of the political world in the Right Wing and the Left Wing is not relevant anymore. Nowadays, according to the ideas of the party, everyone in every aspect of his or her everyday life is either for or against Globalization and its negative elements.
The party failed to reach the 3% threshold of the popular vote in [[Greek legislative election, 2004|March 7 elections]] but three months later gained 4.1% of the vote and one seat in the [[European Parliament Election, 2004 (Greece)|2004 European Parliamentary Elections]].
