'''Procopius IΙ''' was a [[Greeks|Greek]] clergyman who served as [[Archbishop of Athens]] and all Greece between [[1896]] and [[1901]].

Procopius IΙ was born Procopius Oikonomidis, in [[1837]], in Domena near [[Kalavryta]], [[Achaea]]. He studied Philosophy and Theology at the [[University of Athens]], furthering his studies in Moscow, Geneva and Heidelberg.

Afterwards, Procopius taught at the Theological School of the [[University of Athens]], In [[1884]], he was appointed Secretary General of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, a post he held until [[October 11]], [[1896]], when he was elected Archbishop of Athens and all Greece.

He resigned in November [[1901]] in the wake of the [[Evangelical events]] and withdrew to the Monastery of Faneromeni in [[Salamina]].

Procopius II died in [[Athens]] on [[July 4]], [[1902]].
