'''Sinisa Gogic''' (born in Niš, Yugoslavia) is a former Serbian/[[Cyprus|Cypriot]] footballer who played for the [[Greece|Greek]] [[football (soccer)|football]] team [[Olympiakos FC|Olympiakos]] [[Piraeus]] from [[1997]] until [[2000]], the Cypriot teams [[APOEL FC]], [[Anorthosis Famagusta FC|Anorthosis Famagusta]] and [[Olympiakos Nicosia FC|Olympiakos Nicosia]] and the [[Cyprus national football team]].

Gogic began his career with Radnički Niš. He first came to [[Cyprus]] from Yugoslavia and played for [[APOEL FC|APOEL]] in [[1989]], where he won the championship in his first season. The same year Gogic became top Goalscorer of the [[Cypriot First Division]] with 19 goals. He stayed at APOEL for a few years where he won the championship again in 1991/[[1992|92]]. In [[1993]] he left APOEL for [[Anorthosis Famagusta|Anorthosis]] and became again top goal scorer, this time with 26 goals and the following season, he helped Anorthosis win the Championship (1995/[[1996|96]]) for the first time in 32 years. He had a great season in 1996/97 which attracted the interest of [[Olympiakos FC|Olympiakos]] [[Piraeus]] whom he joined at the age of 33, in 1997.

He stayed at Olympiakos for 4 years, during which Olympiakos dominated the domestic league. Those four years Olympiakos became champions in [[Greece]] (1997-2000). 1998/99, was a greatest season for Olympiakos as the club won the Double and for first time reached the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League. Gogic was considered as one of the best Olympiakos players in the club's greatest achievement, in both Greek and European competitions.

In the first match against FC Porto, when Olympiacos was loosing 2-0 away, he played for the last five minutes and he equalized by scoring Olympiakos second goal. He scored other several goals in the Group stage and Olympiakos then faced Juventus in quarter finals. After a 2-1 away defeat at Stadio delle Alpi, Gogic played the whole second leg, in [[Olympic Stadium (Athens)]] and during the first 15 minuted he scored Olympiakos goal. The result, which would have sent Olympiakos through to the semi finals for first time in their history, remained like that until the 85th minute, when Antonio Conte equalized for Juventus eliminating Olympiakos.

One year later, Gogic left Olympiakos and returned to [[Cyprus]], where he again joined [[APOEL FC|APOEL]]. In 2001/02 he helped his team once more to the championship, however following financial differences, he played for six months for [[Olympiakos Nicosia FC|Olympiakos Nicosia]], where he ended his career.

Now in the age of 42 he is manager in the youth academies of Olympiakos Nicosia.

Having lived for a considerable time in Cyprus, he took Cypriot citizenship and was selected to play for the [[Cyprus National Football Team|national team]]. Between 1994 and 1999 he scored 8 goals for Cyprus including one memorable goal in Cyprus' 3-2 victory against Spain in 1998. He also scored two goals against Israel, when Cyprus won 2-0 in the 1998 FIFA World Cup qualification.
