Panidis played for [[PAOK FC|PAOK]] [[Thessaloniki]] from [[1930]] and became the team's captain. He played in 122 competitive games - a large number in the pre-[[Alpha Ethniki]] days.

He saw action as a lieutenant in the [[Greek Civil War]] and was killed in action near [[Mount Paikon]].
