<p><b>New page</b></p><div>Irene Maradei was born in Rome (Italy) by an Italian father and a Greek mother, and raised in Greece. She studied ballet with Yannis Metsis, classical song with Hero Palli and Marina Krilovic-Paschalis, yoga with Leda Shantala, finished drama school, has a literature degree from Rome University as well as a degree in Management of Cultural Organizations from the Athens University. She has had a varied career in the performing arts (having worked as an actress, singer, dancer, assistent director, lyrics writer), as well as a film, dance and music critic for the newspaper "Apogevmatini" from 1981 to 1998, had her own radio show in the Third Programme of ERA and has worked as a translator in four languages. She now teaches oriental dance and designs websites.</div>Lazarus
