Arvanitochori is a settlement on the Greek island of Kassos, in the southern Aegean Dodecanese complex.
Arvanitochori (literally "Albanian village") is said to derive its name from Albanians that settled in Kassos in the 16th Century. Other sources claim that the name came about from one of its inhabitants - a sea captain - who dressed in traditional Albanian outfits.
