Kalamos is a small island (25 sq km) in the Ionian Sea, between Lefkada and Meganisi on its west and Central Greece on the east.
There are two populated settlements on the island: Kalamos, and Episkopi. A third settlement, Kefali, has been abandoned since the 1950s. The total population of the island is 500 inhabitants.
