The 1952-1953 Football Championship was a Panhellenic championship organised under the auspices of the Hellenic Football Federation. It was won by Panathinaikos.
Background
The 1953 championship was played in two phases: On the local level:
- Round-robin tournaments were held in Athens, Piraeus and Thessaloniki. They were won by Panathinaikos, Olympiakos and Aris respectively.
The national championship was then contested between the three winners.

- May 31, 1953: Olympiakos - Panathinaikos 1-1
- Panathinaikos - Aris 1-0
- June 10, 1953: Olympiakos - Aris 3-1
- Aris - Panathinaikos 0-1
- June 21, 1953: Panathinaikos - Olympiakos 0-0
