Dimitris "Mimis" Spentzopoulos is a Greek former football striker of the 1970s era.
Spentzopoulos was born in Kalamata on March 8, 1950. He started his football career with Apollon Kalamata which in 1967 merged with other local clubs to for Kalamata FC.
In 1973, Spentzopoulos transferred to Panachaiki. He played for the Patra club until 1984 when he continued his career - till age 38 - in lower divisions with clubs such as Agrinio FC and Aris Patra.
Over all, Spentzopoulos made 271 Alpha Ethniki appearances scoring 62 goals - 25 of them with headers.
After his playing days were over, he coached a number of local football clubs.
