The 1938 Apollon Athens team that earned the nickname 'Light Brigade. Standing (L-R): Hadjisavvas, Damalas, Gregoriadis, Stratos, Pananos. Bottom row (L-R): Hadjivasilis, Gizoris, Vouvoudakis, Giakoumakis

Notice the angled cross (tetraskele) a common symbol in Greece in the antiquity. It was later dropped to avoid association with Nazi Germany and Hitler, who monopolized it as a national symbol (read: The History of the Swastika.
