'''Georgios Alogoskoufis''' was born in [[Athens]] on [[October 17]], [[1955]]. He studied economics at the [[University of Athens]] and completed his post-graduate studies at the London School of Economics. He was employed as a Professor at the University of London during the [[1980s]] and a research fellow at the London School of Economic’s Centre for Labour Economics (1981-1982).
