Giorgos Kamaras' younger brother was born in 1939 and also started his career at Apollon Athens, however, - unlike his brother - Aristides was a right side defender. His career at Apollon didn't last long as Panathinaikos picked him up at a young age. He starred for Panathinaikos and the Greek National Football Team (30 caps) until the 1970s when he retired. After retirement, he entered the legal profession full-time.
