We are debating the birth place of Princess Irene of Greece. Most reference states that she was born in Cape Town. However from a very old source who has since passed on it appears that Irene was born at Sea outside Cape Town Harbour. The debate is if born on land Irene would have had the citizenship of the country, at sea she would have no nationality and could therefore be registered as a Greek National. As there is a possibility that there may be interest in publishing an articale of the Royal Greek Family any insight will be greatly appreciated.
