- January 4: The number of deaths, due to COVID-19 in Greece, reaches the 5,000 mark.
- January 4: Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis reshuffles his cabinet.

- February 9: Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announces a near-total lockdown in Attica until February 28, citing a "worrying" rise in hospitalizations and the spread of the Covid-19 variants which are more transmissible.
- February 15: The heaviest snowfall to hit Greece in 12 years triggers power cuts and disrupts transport throughout the country.
