Alexandros Nikolaidis was a Greek tae kwon do athlete. He belonged to AC Megas Alexandros Thessaloniki and trained under Kostas Tzidimopoulos.

Nikolaidis was born on October 17, 1979, in Thessaloniki, the son of another tae kwon do athlete. He studied Physical Education at the University of Thessaloniki and was a fireman by profession.

Among his accomplishments were:

  • silver medals in the Olympic Games of 2004 and 2008.
  • a silver medal in the Mediterranean Games of 1997
  • gold medals in the European Youth Championships of 1996 and 1997
  • a gold medal in the World Youth Championship of 1996

Nikolaidis was named male athlete of the year for 2008.

He died on October 14, 2022.
