Aris Chrysafopoulos was a footballer, a fullback for Olympiakos from 1932 until 1937.

Chrysafopoulos was known affectionately as "Karpouzas" (Watermellon) by his teammates and fans. He was born in 1913 and quit football at the age of 24 to become a ship engineer. He was capped 7 times by the National Football Team of Greece.
