Aris Spiliotopoulos is a Greek politician who recently served as Minister for National Education and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Greece.

Spiliotopoulos was born in Patra on October 28, 1966. He studied Political Science at the University of Athens with graduate studies in London.

He entered politics in April, 2000, when he was first elected to the Hellenic Parliament, under the banner of New Democracy. He was reelected in 2004 and 2007 in the 2nd constituency of Athens.

In September, 2007, Spiliotopoulos was appointed Minister for Tourism. He was shifted to the Ministry for National Education and Religious Affairs on January 8. 2009.
