Coat of Arms (Greek: Οικοσημο) is a design belonging to a family, a person, or group of people.

In medieval times. "Coats of Arms" were used by nobles as well as by knights and were prominently displayed in order to separate them and easily identify them from others. The Coats of Arms design is described in a formal way called Blazon.
