Dimitrios Valvis was a Greek jurist, politician and Prime Minister.
Valvis was born in 1814 in Messolonghi. He studied Law in Pisa, Italy. On his return to Greece, he practiced law, became a judge and eventually was elevated to the presidency of the Greek Supreme Court (Areios Pagos).
In 1886, at the request of King George I, Valvis served as Prime Minister. He died in 1892.
Dimitrios Valvis was the younger brother of Zinovios Valvis who also served as Prime Minister.
