Dobromir Zhechev (Bulgarian Добромир Жечев) (born November 12, 1942 in Sofia) is a former Bulgarian football player and later manager.

Zhechev was born in Sofia. At club level he played for Spartak and Levski in his home town. He was also capped 93 times for the Bulgaria national team and was part of the squad at four World Cups (1962 through 1974). In the 1966 World Cup, he man marked Brazil's Pele in a 2-0 Bulgarian loss.

As a manager, he coached Aris Thessaloniki in the 1975-1976 season and PAS Giannina in 1976-1977.
