Epameinondas Deligeorgis was a Greek lawyer, reporter and politician from Mesolonghi (1829 - May 27, 1879).
Deligeorgis was born in Tripolis in 1829. He studied law at Athens University and entered politics in 1854. He was not a proponent of the Great Idea and thought that a better solution to the Eastern Question would be to improve the condition of the Macedonian, Epirote, Thracian and Asia Minor Greeks within a more liberalised Ottoman Empire.
Deligeorgis served as Prime Minister six times and also served as Minister of Education and Foreign Minister.
He died in 1879.
