Giorgos Amanatidis

Giorgos Amanatidis is a Greek former football defender.

Amanatidis was born in 1970 in Kiato, Corinthia. He played for Astrapi Mesopotamia before being acquired by Apollon Kalamaria in 1990. Three years later, he jumped to Olympiakos (1993 - 2003).

In 2003, Amanatidis moved to Cyprus and APOEL FC. He returned to Greece to play a single season with Panachaiki (2006) before retiring.

During his playing days, Amanatidis was capped 19 times by the National Football Team of Greece. He is currently coaching at Olympiakos' youth academies.
