Giorgos Katsibalis (alternative spelling Katsimbalis, Greek: Γιώργος Κατσίμπαλης) was a writer of the first half of the 20th century.

Katsibalis was born in Athens in 1899 to a family that hailed from Arcadia in the Peloponnese. He studied Law in Paris but returned to Greece without graduating. In Athens, he became acquainted with literary figures and began writing.
