Giorgos Zabetas was a Greek Bouzouki virtuoso, composer and singer of Laiko music.

Zabetas was born on January 25, 1925 in Athens. He started his music career in 1950, about the end of the Rebetiko era. His songs were sung by such artists as Marinella, Stelios Kazantzidis, Vicki Moscholiou, Petros Anagnostakis, Giorgos Dalaras, Yiannis Poulopoulos, Dimitris Mitropanos, Stamatis Kokotas, Beba Blanche, Tolis Voskopoulos and...Zabetas himself who was quite a showman.

Zabetas died on March 10, 1992.
