Gold 1960 Sailing - Dragon class

Giorgos Zaimis was a Greek Olympic sailor in the Dragon class.

Zaimis was born in Piraeus, on June 28, 1937.

Zaimis won gold at the 1960 Rome Olympics, in the Dragon class, with a crew that also consisted of Odysseus Eskitzoglou and the then Crown Prince Constantine. He finished 8th in Tokyo, in 1964, and 15th in Mexico City, in 1968.

Zaimis died on May 1, 2020.
