Grevena (Greek: Γρεβενά) is a town in Macedonia, Greece, capital of the Grevena prefecture. The current population is about 15,000 citizens. It is about 422 kilometers from Athens and about 192 kilometers from Thessaloniki. The density was the smallest until the 1990s. Grevena attracts tourists even in the Winter due to its proximity to skiing facilities.
