Kaity Chomata (1946 - October 24, 2010) was a Greek singer of the Neo Kyma (New Wave) genre.

Kaity Chomata was born in Plaka, Athens.

She studied classical dance. She started singing from a very young age. She was discovered by George Oikonomidis. During those years, Giannis Spanos had came from France searching for the singer or the singers who could bring the Neo Kyma at the music stage of Greece and so he co-operated with her.

Her, approximately, 200 songs are featured on 18 albums. Some of her hits include: Aspra Karavia ta Oneira mas (Άσπρα καράβια τα όνειρα μας - Our dreams are white ships), a duet with Michalis Violaris; Mia agapi gia to kalokeri (Μια αγάπη για το καλοκαίρι - One love for summer).

She toured extensively, singing for the Greek diaspora at the US, Canada and Germany. Her last appearance on stage winter 2009 at a music stage at Gazi.

She was suffering from cancer for many years. She died October 24, 2010 at the 417 General Military Hospital NIMTS hospital and was buried at the Helioupolis Cemetery.
