Kostas Papageorgiou

Kostas Papageorgiou was a prolific goal scorer for AEK in the 1960s who lived in the shadow of Kostas Nestoridis and Mimis Papaioannou during his entire career at that club. His 20 goals, in his first full season at AEK (1964), won him third place among goalscorers that year - Mimis Papaioannou was first. He lost his place in AEK's starting lineup after Kostas Nikolaidis joined the club and in 1970 he transferred to Apollon Athens.
