Lefkoniko

Lefkoniko is a community in Ammochostos province, Cyprus, situated 26km northwest of the city of Famagusta (Ammochostos).

Lefkoniko has been under Turkish military occupation since 1974. Prior to the invasion, its population, of 2,000 inhabitants, was over 99% Greek.
