In Greek mythology, Lycomedes (also known as Lycurgus) was the King of the Dolopes who lived in Skyros during the Trojan War. Achilles, dressed as a girl, hid himself in Lycomedes' court to escape the war. While there, he fathered Neoptolemus with Lycomedes' daughter, Deidamea. Achilles was later discovered by Odysseus who convinced him to come to Troy.
Plutarch says that Lycomedes also killed Theseus by pushing him off a cliff.
