Olympiakos Volos is a club originally founded in 1937 by supporters of Olympiakos Piraeus in the city of Volos.

They have had a few stints in the A' Division of the Greek Football League (1968, 1970, 1972 - 1975, 1989 - 1990) and even produced a top scorer of the Greek League in 1989 - Imre Boda.

In 2004, Ethnikos Olympiakos Volos - as the club came to be known - merged with AS Kassandra and became known as AS Kassandra Olympiakos Volos.
