Panikos Krystallis was born in Lemesos, Cyprus, in 1942.

He started his football career in AE Limassol in the late 1950's but soon joined cross-town rivals Apollon Limassol where he had his best years as a striker.

He spent two years in the Greek National Football League (1962 and 1963) playing for AEK Athens but returned to Cyprus in 1963.

During his career, he was capped 19 times by the Cyprus National Football Team scoring 4 goals.

After his playing career was over, Krystallis coached various clubs including AE Limassol, Apollon Limassol, Evagoras and the Cyprus National Football Team.
