Sir Robert Perceval Armitage was the third-from-last British governor of Cyprus.
Armitage was born in 1909. He was governor of Cyprus from 1954 until September 25, 1955 when he was replaced by Sir John Harding. During his rule, the EOKA uprising for Enosis started on April 1, 1955.
Armitage died in 1990.
