Sofoklis Schortsianitis (Greek: Σοφοκλής Σχορτσιανίτης) is a Greek professional basketball player who currently plays for Trikala. His nicknames are "Baby Shaq and Big Sofo."

Sofoklis was born on June 22, 1985 in Tiko, Cameroon to a Greek father, a businessman, and a local mother. His family moved to Kavala, Macedonia, Greece when he was young. In Kavala, Sofoklis started playing basketball with local club Iraklis Potamia. In the summer of 2000, he transferred to Iraklis Thessaloniki.

Schortsianitis played three years for Iraklis in the Greek A1 Division. He was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2nd round (34th overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft. Though the Clippers did not induct him in their club, they maintained contact with him and reserved their rights with him. Schortsianitis next played in Italy for Cantu (2003 - 2004) returning the following season to Greece where he joined Aris. In the summer of 2005, he transferred to Olympiakos.
