Thymaina is a small Greek island in the Fournoi complex of Samos prefecture, in the eastern Aegean Sea.

Thymaina is located just west of Fournoi, about 4.5 nautical miles SE of Ikaria. Its name is said to be derived from the thyme that grows throughout the island.

The population of Thymaina is roughly 150 inhabitants who earn their living mostly from the sea.
