Vangelis Moras is a Greek football defender.

Moras was born on August 26, 1981 in Larisa. He started his career with Larisa in 2000 and joined Proodeftiki in the summer of 2001. After two years, he joined AEK where he played as a regular from 2004 until June 2007 making 77 league appearances.

On July 1, 2007, he signed for AC Bologna in Italy. He moved in the summer of 2011 to Swansey City where he just played half a season before heading to Italian side Cesena. In the summer of 2012 Moras was transferred to Hellas Verona and played there till the summer of 2016. After a season at Bari Moras returned to Greece in the summer of 2017 and signed at Panaitolikos FC but was released in the winterbreak and signed in January 2018 at the club he started his career: Larisa.

Moras has played 27 times for the National Football Team of Greece and was a member of the squads that competed in the finals of World Cup 2010 in South Africa and 2014 in Brazil. He only played one match at those World Cups: against Argentina in 2010.

Moras was also a member of the Greek squad for the Olympics in 2004 in Greece. He played in all the games of the Greek Olympic team in the Group Stage.
