Born in Piraeus in 1908, Vasilis was a Greek footballer, probably the most versatile of the Andrianopoulos brothers, capable of playing anywhere on the attacking line.

Vasilis started his career with Peiraikos Syndesmos FC and continued with Athletic and Football Club of Piraeus, Olympiakos Omilos and Olympiakos FC as each of his prior clubs were absorbed into the next.

He was capped 7 times by the Greek National Football Team scoring 3 goals. After his playing career was over, Vasilis stayed on in football in various official capacities.

He died in 1989.
