Yiota Lydia is a Greek singer of laika songs.

Lydia was born Panagiota Mandaraki in Nea Ionia on February 24, 1934. She was married, at age 15, to composer Stratos Attalidis and first recorded in 1953.

Lydia is considered one of the top female singers of the golden age of laika songs (late 1950s - 1960s). Among her greatest hits are:

  • "Συ μου χάραξες πορεία"
  • "Γιατί θες να φύγεις"
  • "Ηλιοβασιλέματα"
  • "Νύχτωσε χωρίς φεγγάρι"
  • "Αχ ας μπορούσα"
  • "Όταν πέσεις σ' άλλα χέρια"

She is said to have recorded nearly 1,000 songs by the time she turned 25. Among the composers and lyricists she worked with were: Apostolos Kaldaras, Vasilis Tsitsanis, Manolis Chiotis, Markos Vamvakaris, Kostas Virvos and many others.
