Anna Fonsou is a Greek stage and screen actress. She was born July 4, 1940 at Kesariani, Athens, though her family is originally from the island of Tinos.

Anna Fonsou shocked the Greek audience in the seventies because of her nude, erotic scenes in a handful of softcore movies like Το Koritsi ke to alogo (Το Κορίτσι και το Άλογο), Kinigimenoi Erastes (Kυνηγημένοι εραστές).

In the 1996 and 2000 Parliamentary elections, Anna Fonsou was a political candidate for the Communist Party of Greece.

Anna Fonsou is the founder and President of the non-profit Actor House (To Spiti tou Ethopiou, Το Σπίτι του Ηθοποιού) which provides shelter and support for old-time actors or young, struggling actors. She has also served as President of the Greek Actors' Union.
